In many cases, the coldest room is the one over the garage. In this case, we are insulating the garage ceiling which has a bedroom above it. By doing this we are slowing down the transfer of heat out of the room drastically. Also, the homeowner here was interested in adding the cellulose to provide soundproofing in the room above the garage.
